Jon Scieszka’s Trucktown Dizzy Izzy
by Jon Scieszka

The book seemed a little babyish for me. I did like all the rhyming words in the book…it was fun to read. It was also very silly at the end when the ice cream truck was fuzzy. It made me want to eat ice cream!

Yasmin The Scientist
by Saadia faruq

I like science so I like this book.If I am in science fair, I would like to present the erupting volcano too. I did this experiment with my mom before. It was so fun and interesting. I would like to show my classmates.

What Was The Great Chicago Fire
by Janet Pascal

I like this book because I think that fires are very interesting. And I think Chicago is a very cool city. And did you know that about 300 people died in the Great Chicago Fire. That's really sad. I love this book so much!

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince
by J.k. Rowling

It is Harrys sixth year at Hogwarts, now that everyone believes Voldemort has returned Harry starts to gain more and more popularity. So far his year is going okay, but when he never got his potions book, he has to borrow one. Written all over it are spells that Harry has never heard of, notes to make some potions better. Harry has no idea who wrote this, his only clue is written on the front page saying "This is the property of the Half-Blood prince". Harry. Ron, and Hermione try to figure out who this person could be, but they have bigger things to worry about, Voldemort. Dumbledore requests Harry take private lesson with him, which include going into some memories, including his and Professor Slughorns. In one of these memories we learn about Horcruxs (where a wizard or witch basically splits part of their soul into an object).Harry has no idea what the point of these lessons are until Dumbledore explains its a way to get to know Voldemort and figure out where he would hide his Horcruxes. Can Harry find out who the Half-Blood Prince is, and how to stop Voldemort, read the book to find out! I would give this a 5 out of 5, I just think this whole series is so interesting and amazing. If you have not read this series yet I totally recommend you do, definitely if your into mystery and fantasy.

Where is my country
by Robin Nelson

It is a bit complicated to be able to teach a small child about geography but with this book it becomes very easy since with didactic pages we discover where we live and instead of the world is our country, continent etc. etc.

Pets At The White House
by Marge Kennedy

this book was fantastic, Sophia loves dogs and she learned about the white house and the pets that presidents had !!! A fun way to learn history. We also learned that dogs are not the only favorites, there are also other animals such as pony, goat, sheep, snake etc.

Who Was Kobe Bryant
by Ellen Labrecque

I enjoyed reading this book. Although I knew a lot about Kobe Bryant and his life I still learned more. I knew he loved basketball but had no idea just how much it became a huge part of his life. I great read if you are a Kobe fan.

Point Guard Prank
by Jake Maddox

This was one of my favorite books in the series. I especially like it because it was about a player Ryan on the basketball team getting pranked during games so he misses shots. It showed me that with determination and concentration you can get past people that are trying to bring you down won’t be able to.

Never Girls Book 1

The book is about four girls who can go to the world full of fairies. In this book, Mia needs to bake a cake but she doesn’t know how to do it. So she goes to the fairy world to ask for help. I liked the book very much

Ms. Hall is a goofball
by Dan Gutman

I enjoyed this book because I love all the goofy ways Ms Hall tried to get AJ and his friends to eat more healthy food and veggies. I don’t like vegetables either so I found it funny all the tricks and goofy things she was doing. I don’t like to eat veggies either and still don’t think I would eat them even if I had a Ms Hall in my life.
